Suspension Alignment Question

I've looked but didn't really see anyone say anything other than the obvious about after doing upgrades to the suspension redo the alignment. My question is, after installing new springs and/or shocks does a car need to "settle" or be "settled" before doing the alignment. By "settled" I mean drive the car, let it sit for a day or a few days, bounce it or whatever is needed to "seat" the upgrades so to speak.

No. Install the suspension, drive to the alignment shop.
