Which part number? Bz1086 or Bz1069?

One is the "correct" Rx7 part number and has a larger shaft the than the other which is the rear sturt off an MR2 that ground control ships with (some of?) thier kits.

The Bz1086 one is .588 (per this old mazda motorsports catalog on page 9: http://www.mazdamotorsports.com/wcsc...Suspension.pdf )

The Bz1069 (off the top of my head) is 5/8.

For posterity; google search string "bz1086 shaft diameter" returns that result; 5th link.
