Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET #8 (Hurricane Relief Assistance)

The MEGA MEET will be back at the Woodbridge VDOT lot at the intersection of I95 and Rt123 on October 1st from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. Instead of asking for a $1.00 to get in, we will be asking for 1 non-perishable food item that we will be donating to the Fredericksburg Food Bank for the victims of Katrina. The Fredericksburg Food Bank staff will be at the lot with their truck to collect the items during this meet. Please feel free to bring more than one non-perishable food item if you would like because every little bit helps. But please understand that the Fredericksburg Food Bank can only accept non-perishable items. If you forget to bring an item or just don't want to, a $1 donation is still being accepted to get into the lot. Our goal is to show how much the youth/car enthusiast groups in the Mid Atlantic Region care for others around us. Lets make it a huge meet by passing the word along and collect a lot of items for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Please feel free to visit us www.megameet.org for more info and directions to the MEGA MEET lot.

Thanks from the Mega Meet Management

I'm definitely going to try and make this one. I went to the meet in July and it was great, lots of cars and well organized. We need more 7's to come to these.

RE Matsuda, I'm planning on going as well. I think a few locals may be going. We should get a mini caravan of 7s going!

FDNewbie, I'd definitely be down for a caravan, even a small one would be cool. Do you know of any good places to meet up before we head down?

You MD guys gotta pass through VA anyways. If you're coming through the west side of 495, you should meet up w/ us somewhere near Tysons or so, immediately off the beltway? (so no one gets lost)?

We should all meet at Tyson's Corner somewhere, maybe the Fuddruckers that MSCW uses. Meet up, get some burgers and head down.

That sounds like a great idea. What time do people want to meet?

For people up near glen burnie we should meet somewhere up here and drive down to the fudds in tyson's. Columbia seemed like a good spot, why don't we meet back at the fudd's in columbia.

Glad i got the PM about this. Thanks Ramy.

I'm DEF!!!!! in for this. Keep me posted please!

I'd need directions to the Fuddruckers in Tysons. I know the area pretty well, but only by the Car dealerships Merc/Porsche/Mazda/Honda/VW etc..

Directions - http://www.mscw.com/business.html

We should probably meet up around 5:30-6:00pm if we're going to eat, then head out no later 7:00pm since its about 30 minute drive from there. If you don't want to eat, just get there before 7:00pm

Here's Mapquest from Fuddrucker's to the Woodbridge lot - http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...&2z=22191-1108
