Hey guys need a little help, I am trying to purchase a twin power from a forum member and just want to confirm this is the correct model for a FD3S 13BREW ?

It seems to be and from everything that is shown, but just want to make sure it is correct and the current best technology they have to offer.

Is this the current model?
Is there any changes or benefits to the current model if this is a older model?

Best bet is to call HKS and check the part # on it.
also get the PnP harness for it

 

just buy crane cams hi-6 , two of them is plenty
dont waste your time with HKS parts, they are overrated.

 

I had the HI-6R and it went bad after 6 years. My recently installed twin power works better than it. Two Cranes takes up a lot of space for street car while the HKS is small.

Everyone has an opinion.

They may be great, but i doubt greater then the Crane Cam's.
Ive actually tested them @ 2bar boost and they work so so good,you dont need to upgrade.

Do you have any side by side dyno plots that you could post showing the differences of why you feel they are better?

 

When does it become necessary to use an ignition upgrade?

I know its one of those things where you know you need one when you need one, but is there a rough estimate that says over “X” amount of boost it is recommended to use an ignition amp?

I am getting one in preparation for a dyno run and am bringing it just to be prepared, as I know of similar setups as my car my tuner has done that he recommended having the ignition upgrade.
