Jax Caravan to Orlando AUG 27

Welp, thought i might as well get this type of thread started to see who we can't get signed up and where to meet.

Usually the group meets and Dave and Busters off JTB. But now that 9A has opened up to 95south we can probably get away with meeting at UNF or something.

I'm suggesting UNF parking garage closest to St. John's Bluff @ 0900. That way we can leave there to jump on 9A around 0930. Should put us in Orlando around 1200-1230.

Any other ideas... post up or just submit your name to the list.

CWB: Orlando on the 27AUG is turning into a relatively large gathering of RX's at Race Rock. See the following for details:

Peter: I'm with you on the time and place. Hope your A/C is working by then, cause I know my won't be still...

You guys are some tough hombre's for doing the trip to Daytona in those rotary ovens ! ! ! !
I will be on night shift by then but still plan on being there. How long did it take you to get from Jax to the Daytona exit ? ? ? ? Half way toying with the idea of meeting up with you guys on 95. Jack

I might be able to go.. but that all depends on how much higher gas goes.. if I can get someone to watch the little monster and.. if I can get my struts in the back fixed on time..

I might have a ride along. I'm on the main list as #50. Anything I should know prior to leaving? Are we go-karting, dyno, drive around....? I'm up for anything just want to be prepaired. Thanks

Chuck

Ok How about this. What struts does everyone else have on their 7? So I know what might be a good kind for me to get... since me asking where to get them from is completely worthless... This is my first one.. I have only had it driveable for about a month and I need help! I thought that since I'm in Jax and I wanna go that you guys wouldn't mind giving me some advice... but so far NOTHING. HELP PLEASE!

Koni and GAB are by far the best factory replacements.

You might have better luck checking out the tires, wheels and suspension part of the forum, then look in the parts for sale wanted for your year and see what people have available. Jack

I won't be in a 7 However myself and 3 other rotorheads will meet up with you guys. Funny part, 3 - 7 owners, all cars have issues, lol. Anyhow, we will be there at 0900. UNF parking lot is pretty big, and there only seems to be 4 other people going. Which parking area will you be at? Close to the entrance from AOL? or the JTB side?

Not too sure about for street purposes, but i'm running Zeal Function X coilovers. A lot of people run coilovers on the street and say they have no real qualms about it, but i've tried to drive the fd about a month ago to the grocery store to get some milk and misc. tid bits . . . . . . Jacksonville roads are not meant for coils. Twinturbo Pete is right on the money with the GAB/Koni reccomendations.

We will be meeting at the parking garage closest to the St. John's Bluff entrance.. if you make a turn into UNF from St. John's Bluff.. follow it down past the 1st stoplight then make the first right after that light and you should see the rest of us. If you have any issues finding us. My # is 904.307.6246
