hey guys i damaged my front end, and i'am thinking i might have damaged the radiator, because i see smoke rising in front of my engine bay when the car has fully warmed up. What could it be?????? what are the signs if i need a new radiator??? you see the plastic cover underneath the car got totally damaged and its sort of hanging down, any other areas that could have been damaged????

 

You need to fix it or get a new one

 

White smoke should be the coolant. Is your coolant level dropping?

If the smoke is from the radiator, it needs repair/replacement. Otherwise, it could be a hose leaking somewhere. Try locating the source. If the smoke is a little only and is coming from the radiator itself, try some radiator stop leak from auto parts store.

 

well if theres a hole in it...umm yea its busted..check your coolant level...one night leave the cap off overnight..if theres any holes in the rad coolant will leak out...and when u come out in the morning and theres a puddle of coolant under the car and the levels low..... then u get to find the culpret..hell its a excuse to buy a upgraded rad any way....
