i'm not one to bash, but ever since i saw your sig i always thought your little scoop looked kinda stupid, even if it was functional. but, i never said anything cuz then i would have felt like a 2nd gen owner teenage punk/louge rat jerk. i think that this hood looks MUCH better than the last, give your baby a new paint job and things will be a-ok! (looks cool, gets my approval )

Only thing Id do before paint is fill the edges around the screens so that the seam is less visible.

Lookin good though. Let us know if your butt-dyno notices a change!

i used the hood frame as a guide. and i was thinking of putting something around the edges like the door trim stuff. doesn't look that bad without the mesh, but i'll see.

i don't think you will find any differences on the butt-dyno, but maybe reduce some overheating issues if you have any. the mesh looks cool but i would have went with some slotted vents, very viper-ish. or a combo of both, very evo-ish

Yeah,

Use some molding and mate it with the mesh and glue it around the metal that way it looks a little bit flusher and you can’t notice the sharp edges anymore.

As for the benefits I can see a cooling side effect to it, it'll help a bunch.

Looking killer man. Nice chioce for the mesh. When I was looking at it Iwas thinkging that your car would look really good in black. Can't wait to see it when it is done.

Your car possess the classic lines and coloring that the ricers stole and imitated (poorly). You should be proud of it.
