want to make sure (hose question)

hi
im not sure about this hose. on http://www.wvinter.net/~flanham/wlan...urbosystem.jpg, the outlet seems to be plugged, but on http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-7/vacuum.jpg, the hose seems to be part of the secondary air bypass and eventually hooking up with the double throttle selenoid. can anyone help me please?

Be a little more specific, I have no idea which hose and what you talking about!

The forst pic. and the second are two diferent things, the first pic shows vacuum hoses after removing the emission crap
.
.

The second one shows all factory vac. hoses, therefore there is a big difference between the 2.

ok, got car running ok now. i just got caught up in the dark and couldnt see what i was doing very well. in the first picture, it seems to be the where the black plug is, comming out of the uim. in the second pic, also comming out of the uim, is the same thing, only this one is not plugged, it starts off light blue and ends up turning purple and so on. sorry im not too familiar or good with the technical names for these parts. i am rather new and appreciate the help and support of you fellow members.

On the full vacuum hose diagram (2nd pic.) if you carefully follow the BLUE hose you are refering to, it goes to the G solenoid valve (double throtle control) from the TB, a picture error has been made if you see how it becomes from blue to dark RED after it passes the check valve (one way valve) near the purge control solenoid so it's pretty confusing.

To make the long story short, vaccum pulled from the TB goes to G sol. (DT Control) and back to DT actuator in TB.

Your car will work fine even is not conected right and you might not notice any difference but you should get it fixed b/c you might have a vacuum leak (not good for you idle and other stuff).

Good luck,
