i just bought a 90 GXL. The radio works fine, except the digital display of the radio and the equalizer is blank and its just orange when the lights are on. I can't see any of the black numbers or the equalizer so i was wondering is there a way i can fix this so i can see what is being displayed??? I am going to replace w/ aftermarket stuff eventually but for now i was wondering if there is a way i can easily fix it so i can see the numbers and the display and stuff.

 

Double check the dome light is working and the domelight fuse is okay. the display won't work if the dome light circuit is not working.

If the dome light is working then the display has a broken or cold solder joint or one of the display chips is bad and the radio will need to be replaced.
