PFC experts look within, Same PFC, two cars, different results

OK, here I go again...

Car #1:

Rebuilt ported motor, Full exhaust, intake, IC, etc. Starts fine when cold with the PFC, when warm it'll stall and be hard to restart or not restart. Basically as it warms up the idle drops lower and lower until it stalls. The motor has like 20 miles on it. Install a stock ECU and the car starts up fine when cold or hot.

Car #2:

Reman motor, intake, IC, exhaust with stock cat with M2 ECU. Runs and drives great with M2 ECU, the idle is about as perfect as they come. Swap the PFC into this car and it wants to stall when cold and when it warms up it idles at 1800-2000rpm. Oh and the AC doesn't work with the PFC either. Under boost it is smooth and powerful after 2000rpm. If I get it below 2000rpm it acts like an old carbureted car with a bad accelerator pump (if anyone knows what that is).

Both have the stock MAP sensor. Car #1 has all the emissions equipment on it besides the cats, airpump ACV and all solenoids.

What gives? Is the PFC crazy?

Regarding #1, check out this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/im-getting-idle-hunting-during-warm-start-313816/

I've got this problem, but haven't spent any time trying to fix it. It's been suggested that the PFC has narrower tolerances when it comes to the various sensors and such, which may explain why some cars have A/C problems and others do not (seems to be realted to worn contacts on the speed selector switch). Perhaps the warm start issue is something similar.
