conflicting specs on 99 Jspec wheels

conflicting specs on 99 Jspec wheels



I really like the looks of this rims but I never get a solid answer on their size. are they 16's or 17's?

17"s.

17x8 front, 17x8.5 rear.

The ones in the first post are 16x8. Notice how the second photo has rims that curve inwards more.

Correct, also note the position of the bolt holes in relation to the spokes. I personally have 4 of the 17 x 8.5s.

so I take it that the one that are been sold in JT-imports are the 16's. were is a good place to get the 17's?

They fit perfectly with 255s. I did have stock shocks/springs but I now have coilovers. They were fine in both cases. Good luck finding 4 8.5s though. I still can't believe Jt-imports split up two sets for me.

I guess the one that runs for $600-$900 are the 16" version. for the 17" I'm better off with an aftermarket rims.

Well I have seen 17s go for less than I paid, as low as 900 shipped. As time passes prices drop on parts like this even when they are from Japan. As for better off with aftermarket rims, well that depends on what you want. These are light and a perfect choice but so are several other rims.
