car smokes when starts up`
I recently just put two staright through mufflers on my stock exhaust, welding the mufflers on to the original pipes which I welded 1/8" steel plates over the rips in the original pipe. I would have got whole new pipe, but it was 1:00 am at my buddies shop, so now stores where open. Every once in a while when I start my car up, there will be very light smoke coming out of my mufflers for abut 1 minute, then it will stop. It happens sometimes, but not always. It didn't do this before I put on my mufflers and patched some wholes. I think maybe my cats are clogg'd, and or rotted. If anyone could give me a little info on what the problem might be I'd be very apprecitive.
Thanks,
Thanks,

My GTU used to do that all that time once i switched to Straight-thru Mufflers..
As long as its a light blue smoke, I wouldn't freak out about it. If its bright white and smells sweet on the other hand....
