anybody recommend the pfs pms for single turbo setup???

anybody recommend the pfs pms for single turbo setup???

hey guys im strapped for cash and wondering if the peter ferrel pms would work for a single turbo setup as a tunable system...i have 1600cc injectors...or should i wait and save up cash for a power fc or a haltech...any input is appreciated...thanks julian

I wouldn't recommend it for a single turbo setup. But that's not from personal experience, just what I read. From what I understand (And reason I upgraded to PFC) the PMS can't be used well with larger injectors. It's a great computer for the twins though.. I used it for a long time and loved it.

Yeah, you need a true stand-alone (PFC, Haltech, AEM) to control the larger injectors. I wouldn't risk an engine trying to run a single with the PMS computer.

Thats some great advice. The Apexi PFC is a good choice .PFS PMS is mega old technology. Who knows why PFS still trys to sell them for full price $ 900



I have a PFC and really like all the data and tunning options . Its worked well with my stock turbos and I know about three other guys with single turbo FD's that swear by the PFC. Haltech also has a very good sysyem , but it does involve alot more for install
