Because it's not a 20B. It's a tripple-rotor that uses a custom short eccentric-shaft and 13B housings. You can see the 13B stamped right there on the housing.

 

'74-'75 housings to be exact, with RX-5 bits here and there.

 

So, were would someone get an eccentric shaft like that?

That car is bad ***, but I don't understand why he didn't just go with the 20B in the 1st place. Less headache, and more reliable. Easier to fix too.

As it is, there are plenty of Aussie 2 rotors that make more power than his.

I still love it - in another color though..

what about the torque differences between a 2 and 3 rotor?

 

Unlike a 2 rotor, a 3 rotor gives quite a bit of low end torque.
