will this turbo experience lots of lag? Turbo info inside

Here are some specs

TO4B turbine wheel
54mm compressor wheel
compressor a/r .60
turbine a/r 1.15

Oh yeah, this is going on a 350 small block chevy. I talked to Ralph who's going to tune my car and he said I should chang the exhaust housing to something like a .80 a/r. And although Ralph knows what he's talking about I did not give him all the info at the moment. But from what I've read the TO4B turbine spools pretty fast. And on top of that I have 175ci of displacemnt to each turbo.

Hey Ralph, if you're reading this help me out. I want to get everything setup so there are no surprises when the day comes.

The performance of a turbo is TOTALLY dependant on the engine. You need to ask piston people about that... perhaps someone on here will respond, and perhaps that's what you're looking for.... but the way that a turbo performs on a rotary will in no way tell you how it will perform on a piston engine.

yep, what carx7 said.

but off the top of my head, i think it will be too small, both the compressor and turbine. maybe two of them would work better with a V8.

Hi LT1 7
I will talk to precision turbo and ask harry the owner what recomendations he has and what housings are available. I dont know all but harry has been sizing turbos to applications for us for a couple of years and hes been able to helph us get good stretable horsepower.
PS more like a butload of hP for our cars Ralph

Thanks Ralph. I think as long as we get full boost around 4500 we'd be fine for the dyno, just to see what it can do. I know for sure I want to get a different pair of turbos in the near future anyways. I also want to redo my headers out of stainless but I'll just focus on getting the car ready for the dyno.
