Question What size to get on Mickey Thomson slicks?

I want to purchase some tires and I don't know if there are any clearance problems with these tires. I know that there are a lot of people using these tires on the FD, but what size should I get? I will be using the stock rims and want to get the Mickey Thomson ET tires. I'm also using the H&R Springs, which lowers the car to 1.25"

Also, what are your feelings towards using a Line Loc?

I don't think the ET DRAG comes in a 16" .

The ET STREET comes in a 26x10.5x16 which I think will fit the stock rims.

the 26 10.5 ets fit good on the wheels and have no clearance problems. the 11.5s might be a little large?

If you run the 11.5's you'll need to roll the fenders.

As per Ari, you want to run the MT et's in 26x10.5x16.

Also, spoke to Chris Ott (also over at www.rx7.com) today and he recommended the 4.3 final drive for anybody using the MTs in that size.....the larger rolling diameter effectively makes your final drive ratio numerically lower, which is *not* a good thing......

yep, i know i should have gotten the 10.5, but $100 for both of these with one pass on them was a pretty good deal.

the only thing that changes the final drive ratio is tire height
so it does not matter if you get the 10.5 or the 11.5s the 11.5 obviousley give you better traction since they are wider but most events specify that you need a 10.5 tire
