Is a lightened flywheel on a stock clutch a bad idea?

My clutch is starting to go out and its in need of replacement. My friend says that while we're in there, we might as well get a lightened flywheel to go with it. My flywheel might be damaged anyways, so it sounds like a good idea to me. So I was wondering what you guys thought of running a lightened flywheel on a stock clutch (a new one).

That'll actually wear out a performance clutch faster than a stock clutch.

It'll be fine, you won't regret it.
