In another thread it was stated that the lights w/ black housings wouldn't be ready until some time early next year, which is also what bananaRE told me in an email. I don't know why they used that pic in the ad!

Well I just order the 99 versions last friday. I'll let you guys know how the quality is when I get them. They should be in around the 29th or so.

I think the lights look good. Don't see what about them costs 180.00... Only problem is you are putting them on a car where the rest of the exterior lighting is outdated. I know they are making "Euro Style" reverse lights... But that all clear stuff is gay. Maybe a nice clear crystal red or something...

 

yeah, but with 99 tails, the re amemiya kit, and big *** catz sr fogs, the only thing on mine that looks dated are my faded front markers!!

No I went with the clear lens and black back ground. Because I have the Mazdaspeed GTC front bumper and was planning on getting the smoked lens covers for the bumper. This way the lights wouldn't look to dim if I had went with both smoke lenses.

 

yes i agree. i'm planning to buy the kazama bumber with the smoke lens.

T-von, did you get them in yet? I'm wondering how good quality and if it has 93 connectors for the lights or 99 connectors. That's a very interesting question for me and would like to know. It would be great if they were 93 light connectors on the 99 lights so you dont have to splice or buy adapters. Please let us know, Cause I'm gonna get the smokey lens since I have just a stock 99 spec bumper.

 

I would like to know also.. Please post some pics and your thoughts on quality..

Yep I got them in. The quality looks pretty good however, I cant compare them to the oem versions because I've never seen them in person. These lights will connect to the stock connectors(no splicing needed). I say go for it guys!
