port & t78/88 combo question

ok, this has probably been asked a 1000 times before, but im too lazy to read through the pages. basically, looking to get into the 500+ hp range with the help of a t78 or t88. most likely (and most widely suggested through others), race port with a t88, any comments, help, or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

a T78 and a ported motor is all you need, we have two cars here that are in the 500rwhp. Give us a call if you have any question. www.rx7store.net 614-771-8966

trust me, start out a little at a time man, being 19 i wanted the fastest powered car i could get ahold of. Trust me this isnt the way to go right away. I had all the work done to my car as you can see in my sig. i made 403 rwhp and let me tell you, it is too much for the street. i have no traction in 1st 2nd and most of 3rd. if you hit the gas while doing anything but going perfectly straight you are gonna end up in a ditch. i dont even bother using my high boost setting (17 psi) i just drive around and race on my low boost setting (13psi) which is like 350 rwhp and i still get no traction through 1st and 2nd. i think if you went with a t78 with a street port, you can achieve all the power you could ever use, unless you are a drag race only car. even with this setup you can achieve your goal of 500 rwhp but you can also drive around on a really low boost setting too and not recieve the lag of the t88.
good luck and have fun man. oh yeah one more thing, KDR told me out of the 51 single turbo conversions they did for customers, 18 totaled there cars in the first 2 months, so be carefull and dont goof around like the 4 cylinder ricers in every town.
adam
