GAB Super R Settings

I was looking for some suggestions on the 8-way GAB's I have on my 94 R2 with stock springs and sway bars. Typical street settings - front and rear? Typical autocross/light track settings - front and rear? Any words of wisdom?
I've heard of people using 7F/4R with the 550/450 spring setup for AutoX.
I have the same setup, but I just leave them on 3F/2R for everything! I've tried stiffer at the track, but I didn't think it was any better (big tracks with smooth transitions).
I've got the fronts on 4 right now for the street, but they are too stiff that way, and I plan to switch them back to 3 this weekend.
It feels a little oversprung sometimes, so I try to turn the shocks up, which makes it too stiff for the street. I am thinking of switching to 450/375 springs. Yes, I am a *****. ;-) I am also thinking of doing that open track challenge and what I can do to make the car a little more comfortable so that my co-driver and I don't fatigue too much on the trips between tracks.
