83 GSL and 84-85 SE Brakes SAME or NOT?

I was wondering if the 4 wheel disc brakes on the 83 gsl and 84-85 SE were the same or if the 84-85 were slightly larger. Also if anybody knows, are the brakes also swappable?

No, the SE's braking system is totally different. Nothing will work.

SE's are larger and vented, with the calipers in a slightly different position.

You can switch the whole system if you have the capabilities and the tools and with maybe a few very small modifications.
It pretty much bolts right in.
And then, of course, youll have to switch the rear out too. heh.

Since getting my -SE running and rolling i've learned that the clutch master and the brake masters ARE different from the rest of the models. There close, but different. The swap IS do-able, with some work though.
the lug pattern will be different too.
