When i floor my car in first the shifter will shoot over to the position of 3rd and make a terrible noise, kind of sounds like my exhaust... could it just be my tranny mounts or what?

 

Kind of like my exhaust as in the noise my tranny makes, it's a growling type sound....

 

Also when i let off the gas i can hear a loud thud, i checked my motor mounts they appeared fine, if it's not the tranny mounts i have no idea what it is, i don't really have any way of crawling under my car to check, i don't have a jack.

 

Didn't mean to bring this post back, i got my windows mixed up.

My SE. The motor mount was completely busted on the driver's side.
