323 rotary swap
Hey guys, my buddy and I are picking up a free 323 soon that is in amazing shape. And we are wondering what it is going to take in order to put a rotary in that thing. I have seen that people can put in 12a's and 20b's in them, but what about 13b's? And could anyone explain what is need to do this. Granted I'm an 18 yr old so i have quite a smaller budget, plus i'm still trying to get my TII finished but, if you look at my sig, i did that all by myself so I'm quite mechanically inclined. I am wondering what kind of stuff i'm looking to buy. Basically looking for a cheap way, I have a 13B in my basement that i could rebuild with a bridgeport. So if any one can help me i would greatly appretiate it.

yeah i found a site that kind of helps out but i guess i'm looking for some more help. I am just wondering how i would wire up the coils and that CAS in the car. Even if it were a 12a. But i'm pretty sure thats has a distributor. And if I was going to hook up a small fuel pump, how would that work i mean what would control it. How do you think a BP 12A would fair in one of these things? I don't know much about the 12A's and carbueration, I'm more of a fuel injection guy, but i want to attempt it so i can blow the doors off some people who don't expect it.
I havne't done this or seen one in person, but I have read and talked to guys who have done it.
Even though it is a bunch of custom work, it is supposedly a lot easier than you would initially expect. Something about the chassis already being really similar to another mazda car (rx-7? miata?).
Andrew Dyson has a 13B powered 323 drag car (still street legal I believe) that runs low 9's.
