Try Malloy Mazda in Pennsylvania - they quoted $760 for an air pump that my Boston dealer wanted $1,100.

Check with the local KC club, someone in the club can get parts at cost. There is a message on the mailing list about who to contact to see about parts.

If you race you should sign up for mazdacomp's team support. With some exceptions parts are cost plus shipping.

I think these guys http://www.mazdadiscountparts.com/ have good prices

sometimes their service is not-so-great, but they are supposedly beefing up their computer system to handle all the orders

From what I can tell MazdaMotorSports sells at a 35% discount (not cost). Most dealers have a max discount to the public of 20-25%.

Russel automotive in Ellicott City, MD has pretty good prices... I think you can send them a price request from thier website... http://russelautomotive.com/mazda.asp

sometimes the price is right... sometimes it isn't

There is also www.mazdaformance.com I think they are about the same as Malloy. You still have to call for most parts, and I think they are just the parts dept. for Haas Mazda in TX.

Either MazdaFormance or Malloy will just give it to you. Else you have to negotiate it with your local dealer. 10-15% is typical unless you are a business buying in high volume. Body shops are more like 20-25% since they buy thousands in parts each month...

Cheapest place is through Mazda Competition. To enroll in the program you must race your Mazda twice a year and send in the results. Autox counts.

MazdaFormance sell parts over the internet (or phone) at very close to dealer cost.
Mazda Compitition is now now part of MAZDASPEED.
Any one can order COMPITITION Parts - You only need to show the Compitition results (2 per year) to buy STOCK parts at DEALER COST. There is no DISCOUNT program for COMPITITION parts unless you can work a SPONSORSHIP deal with MAZDA.
Talking to the MAZDASPEED guys at SEVENSTOCK I found out that the fd Comp. Radiator price has dropped to the same as a FLUIDINE (abt $450 was $650) and they say it is a "MUCH BETTER" rad. than the Fluidine.
