89 TII Hybrid Turbo Flow Question
I recently bought a hybrid turbo for my 89 TII. Can anyone tell me what type of HP it will support. The specs are as follows:
Exhaust Side:
Stock 89 TII (All New Parts)
Intake side:
Garret Air Research T04
.60 A/R
60 Trim
The seller told me that his builder claims a 20 - 30 percent increase in flow, throughout the entire rpm range, compared to the stock turbo. My plan is to haltech the car before installation.

How can you gain a 20% to 30% through the entire RPM band from a turbo? AT low RPM any turbo lags, and blocks the flow of exhuast hendering horsepower at low RPM. Even if it is for just 300RPM you dont see a gain of 20% to 30% throughout the entire powerband.
One thing that I never understood about these forums is the need for those certain individuals to try and validate there worth in life by trying to find insignificant errors in the posts of other members. Why pick apart a post and divert the focus from the question at hand? This certainly does not make sense considering this post can be understood by anyone with at least half a brain. If we are here to point out errors in posts then let me start. Godspeed posts:

- Your capitalization for “AT" is incorrect. The first word in a sentence starts with a capitalized letter then all lower case letters follow.
- You misspelled “exhaust”; it should be spelled exhaust.
- You misspelled “hendering”; it should be spelled hindering.
- I think you meant don’t, you wrote “dont”
- “powerband” is two words.
Do these minor errors mean that I don’t understand the content of your post? Maybe you can answer that question on your own.
