I'm Thinking I Hate bad coolant seals

Now I know that this subject is address in almost everyway, almost everyday, BUT I have another. I am not a newbie and most of the time know what I am doing with my car. I researched the site for "Coolant" "Bad" "Seal" "Leaks"
"Blown" in almost every arrangement possible and still my question was not really answered, lite up a bit not not fully addressed to my satisfaction. so after that long shpeal here is the problem.

I just replaced my rad yesterday and my hoses are only a few months old. WELL, I thought the new radiator was going to fix my problem of overheating what I thought was mainly due to a HUGE whole on the top of the rad where the grate and the top row meet. Fixed, no more leaks and all is well on that end. My previous rad did not have a port for the overflow line to connect to nor does my goose-neck for my cap (have two caps now). The new rad comes with a new cap and this one has a place for the line to connect to so I do it. A little while I noticed that it was filling up fast, but I brushed it off, partly to not knowing because of not having one on the car before, but yesterday it did the same thing. I have checked the fluid and it was a little low. I am standing out there with my car on and my hose gets really pressurized really fast. I think it is air leaking into my coolant lines somewhere. I am not sure where, but it is forcing my coolant to go into the overflow tank and its not returning back into the radiator. I am really hoping that my coolant seal is not bad. The car does not overheat anymore, unless all the coolant is forced out of the radiator and it has no white smoke at start up, drving, or at shut down. I am at a loss and am not really sure where my car is headed... to the for sale area or back on the road kicking some serious butt. Its a 86 N/A. 157,xxx miles on the the car. car starts up when its not flooded and runs and idles fine. It has great excelleration and no hesitation at 3800 it actually has a nice little burst (Its great to have secondaries!) Help me out guess.... school me with some new knowledge. I love Learnig about these cars.

Kyle

If the coolant was overheating and boiling in the lines wouldnt you hear when you shut the car off as it starts to cool down?
