it looks good. most of those rust spots wont be too hard to fix. does it run? u used carb cleaner to clean my engine bay ( its about that time again ) just make sure to rinse it off and cover your dist., alt, and carb when you do it and make sure to not get water in those parts as it makes starting it a bitch until they dry out. i like the tar idea i have some rust sealant that goes on in a coffee and creme color and is black when it dries, and im going to be doing the same thing here in a few weeks.

I'm concerned about whether the menagerie of rust spots will need a full repaint or a simple touch-up; I'm pretty sure I want to concentrate on getting the chipped polka-dots off the front though first. I think the engine bay is pretty clean but I'm planning on giving it a bit of a go-over. Also, I outlined what I want to do with the hatch in the corresponding picture caption (spray it with tar sealant, paint after drying and leave the spare tire exposed) but I was wondering if any of you guys had any input as to what I should do. I threw in some shots of my relatively clean interior. I know it's cheating to use seat covers, but my budget won't allow for an upholstery job at this point in time, and the covers actually turned out verrrry nice! Hoping you guys like it so far.
