"550cc secondaries are stock so no change has been made to the fuel map in version 1.5. For version 1.7, the fuel map has been corrected to compensate for larger 720cc secondary injectors without the need for external fuel control, like an AFC, to keep from running very rich. If you have an AFC, it will no longer have to trick the ECU to compensate for the larger injectors. The AFC can be used for fine tuning. This also means that you CANNOT run version 1.7 in a car with 550cc secondaries or you will run lean. Likewise, version 1.8 is expecting at least 720cc injectors for both the primary and secondaries. Injectors with any less flow will run lean and can lead to engine damage. It is OK to run larger that the minimum injector size, but be aware that you will need some sort of fuel control to keep them from running very rich, or move to an Rtek7 Stage 2 ECU upgrade."

It's funny how some people think they know what they are talking about, and are quick to act like a child and start spouting of a bunch of nonsense. Calling people names like this is highschool. If you don't know the facts, go straight to the source to find out. Do I need to say anything more?
i ran rtek 1.7 on my s4 TII at 12psi for like a year no problems... but there no reason to run the stock turbo above 12psi moreso if you still have the stock tmic! It wont be doin anything but making your IAT's go higher...
Bottom line, the 1.x series will probably need some way to control the fuel.
this will pulse the injectors at a rate to make it flow at stock fuel levels.
the 1.7and 1.8s DO NOT raise the amount of fuel delivered to your engine they just make the bigger ones flow the same as stock. If you plan on delivering more fuel then stock you WILL NEED a fuel controller.

That is wrong, wrong wrong. In fact this whole thread is full or fail, reading comprehension fail specifically. Why would RTEK adjust the fuel map to run bigger injectors, and then nullify that work to make it "flow the same as stock?"
