FD3S: OEM sideskirts replica
Finally got to installing these. Bought mine off of 7_rocket and I have fitment issues.
What 2x sided tape would you guys recomend using? Can these be heated to fit better?
I've use 3M then Nomore nails from Home depot. Supposedly good for holding 11lbs. No luck.

When we came out with these... there didn't seem to be a ton of demand for it. It was such a hard project... I wasn't sure if we wanted to go through it again. Definitely should've kept the molds. We threw away alot of things during our move last year around this time. Unfortunately, that was one of the things.
If anyone has our old FRP set... it would be best to work of those than the originals. The originals are very difficult to work off of.

Ken,
I have a set that I painted but never installed.
The rear section of the skirt is "twisted" and mounting with just double sided tape probably won't cut it. Would turn out like Mr. Zoom's picts above. Let me know if you want them to create a new set. Hopefully you guys can figure out how to get the twist out of these. Maybe cut them and re-glass. You can email me directly @ (steve.wilson (at) assetworks.com)

I am currently having the skirts painted.
These are hard to finish....
My body guy has spent 40 hours x $XX/hr = a ton of cheddar
Not worth it
I thought these would cost $500 max to repaint
But the cost of these have easily doubled. And they pretty much come the same way way from Japan, used and beat up. SO refinishing is a B*tch...
If these were made by Shine or any other Vendor, i'd imagine they would fly off the shelves like peacocks.

Ir we can get a good solid list of REAL/Serious interested buyers of at least 10 just to take on the project, I will seriously consider it.. no BS.
Swilson, I hope you still have a set left. I have a new attack plan to make these work.
