First pics is where the stock rear lip is mounted on the hardest. It was such a pain in the *** to remove that I had just cut the lip off, you will understand once you get under. It also held by 3 screws scatttered in the middle.

The second pic is where the brackets are screws on to attach to the diffuser. There is slight adjustment you can peform by deciding where shift the silver plate.

Third pic is a mock up pic on where it will eventually be.... friends ditched me so a cardboard box had to do. I am have a lot of the trouble angling my exhaust to clear the diffuser. Anyone have any advice ? I try to shift the exhaust clamp thing more towards the tip but it still does not move it enough.

Very interesting.

Cut the diffuser..........OR ditch the exhaust. That's all I can think of.

Actually your standard price of $375 is not that low. Its more than what rotary extreme is selling them for right now. The only thing that saves me is the fact your local and shipping sucks with these things. Oh well i guess i wont ever be getting one.

i was having trouble mounting the thing, i know my exhaust is in the way, but how do you get the bolts/nuts into the inner fender to secure the side reenforcements? pics or description would be useful, as i tried to gain access to rear hole on the driver's side rear fender and i couldnt even find where to access it...is it neccesary to remove the bumper to install this?
also, do you have to drill the center of the rear bumper to make a hole for the center section?

thx,
brian

Im not exactly sure what you're trying to describe but the end piece of the diffuser are pop riveted onto the outside of the bumper, not the inside.

And yes, you have drill a hole onto your bumper for the center section. If you look back to the first or 2nd page of this thread, you should be able to see what's going on.

For what it's worth, I had to shave a bit of my diffuser (cannister type) to get it to fit. Sometimes you gotta sacrifice form for a bit of function

I don't have the same one that Ken's selling, but they are all the same shape and dimensions.

Pictures Installed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

just a lil something for you people drooling over what you gonna get, i picked this up last weekend and spent a day installing it cuz i didnt know how ahha...pretty straightforward if you have the higher model FD with mudflaps, cuz the one with mudflaps in the rear has these clips you can screw into, mine didnt =(

well onto the pics, the exhaust is touching the diffuser in about the middle but its not stressing it out too much, but i'll have it moved up a little, i cut out the section for the exhaust myself with a hack saw and filed it down

P.S. those scratches on the bottom are from me dragging around my garage floor, but its gonna get fuxxed up from driving with it so yeah dont worry bout that, its all about the functionality, it actually plants my car its much more stable on the highway.
