First time buyer of an RX7..... I have a question.

I just bought a 1988 Mazda RX7 convertible and I was looking at the engine and don't know what this fluid container is at the the back of the engine compartment, next to the fire wall behind a black canister. Who knows what this is and what is supposed to go in it....it is bone dry.

It's the sub zero starting assist. More info in the linked thread.

You act like it was a stupid question jagoff......Who the hell ever heard of a "Sub Zero Starting System"??? No vehicle I have EVER owned had any **** like this, and I GUARANTEE you 99 out of 100 people who aren't Mazda ******* experts would have no idea what that **** was either. Plus, it takes a different mix than regular coolant. It takes 90% antifreeze and 10% water instead of the 50/50 that goes into your radiator..........so take that GENIUS!!!!!
