Finally some update on Powertune which will become a feature rich successor for Raspexi . I am still busy to optimize the serial protocol for some more speed. But it communicates with the car now . I made a short video last night

It's programmed in Qt 5.7 . You can have a look here :
https://github.com/MarkusIppy/PowerTune
It's easier to setup than Raspexi . Just download Qt 5.7 , load the project and click compile , done .
So far i only decode for RX7 FD3S and the communication is still a bit too slow. But it works already on the car .
Have a look and try it out

Downloaded! Great work Marcus,
QT also has software specific for developing automotive applications. Are you currently using this software or have considered using?

Turned out to be a little too complicated for me to install, Qt 5.7 (which is a 40GB application) wanted me to have a MAC developer tool (XCode) which wouldn't download, and I had no idea what to install from the PowerTune folder and/or how. QT also wouldn't install on tablet, only on laptop.
Looking forward to a final version though.

I am working on the successor of Raspexi which would be able to run in Linux/Windows/MAC

I will try my best to help you
Go to the page :
Qt for macOS | Qt 5.8
then click on the Downloads page
( if it asks you which licence , choose open source )
Install QT on your MAC
Download the source from :
https://github.com/MarkusIppy/PowerTune
(click on the button clone or download ) save the ZIP file anywhere you like
Extract the ZIP on your MAC.
Open QT , navigate to the folder you extracted the ZIP to .
now open the file called : "PowertuneQMLGui.pro"
THis is the Project file
Then click compile and run and my programm will open .
Please tell me which step exactly you are struggling with
Regards
Markus

CarTune
I'm sorry Markus I don't want to hijack your thread but I do have a product available that will run on a PC and interfaces to the APEXI PFC, currently I have it installed in my FD. If anyone wants to take a look at what it offers I have some images but don't have a video at the moment. You can install it on your laptop and run it that way or integrated into the car with a PC. My setup is a PC installed in the car with the dataLogit connected to the PC then I have a 7" touchscreen installed in the dash. This is just my development setup. Future versions will be an all in one. Just wanted others to know that a Windows solution has been developed and will continue to be extended. Just another option for the community.

For anyone interested in seeing my CarTune application for Windows please send me a PM and I will be glad to send you a version that you can use. Hopefully we can get some input as to what features you guys would want.
