Unhappy is low oil effecting startup?

Hey, i just got my rx7 2 weeks ago for the most part its been for to me. but i think i've be petty bad to my car, anyways to my question, i petty sure im low on oil and i wanted to know if that is was is effecting my start up, i was cleaning my car this afternoon, and just a few min's ago, when i wanted to start it, the car would not fully turn over, it was close but not a fully turn, i thought it my be the battery since i did kill it at school (left on day/orange lights) but i was sure my alternator charged it, guess not. so i rolled the car next to my dad's car and tried jumping it, i waited 5 mins before trying to start it again, and when i did, still the midway turn over. So i thought maybe if i hold the gas while turning it on, and it works, but i would like to know why my car it doing that, it is the battery, no oil, or something else because this never happen before.

Also if it is the oil what oil should i get, i was reading some post on here and people were saying not to use synthetic, and others did.....so what do i use?

Only one cup of coffee so far this morning, and I'm worn out trying to decipher your post. Poor spelling, punctuation and incoherent. And I don't even know what model car you have. Since you're asking for help and advice, it will really help us if you put some effort in these areas in the future.

Re: your title question...no. While being low on oil isn't good for your car, from what I can pull from your post it's not what's keeping it from starting. For hard starting there are many potential causes, but I might begin by checking or changing spark plugs, checking timing (if appropriate), and compression.
On what type of oil to get...search and make up your own mind.
Going for a second cup now.

I'm half drunk Jim and it makes a little sense..

Low battery because he left the lights on..(maybe he was drunk at school??..)That would hinder the start up.
If you want to keep your car you will maintain it and keep OIL in the car.Just like you need water to survive, the engine needs lubrication.

Speaking of lubrication,.where's my beer?

*just because the orange lights are called "park lights" it doesn't mean that you have to use them when you park!

(of course you will note the humour along with the answer,so welcome to the rotary world.)

You could have clogged primary injectors. A weak fuel pump. A clogged fuel filter.
