What's going on guys! I've been so busy lately, I haven't stopped by. How many people have there Rotarys running? I was thinking about setting up one more Rotary meet before Winter comes but seems like everyone is down this year!

Naughty Naughty Kool Aid... You think busting through the wall is cool?... Going through the front door is cool! You better fix that before my dad gets home... Ah Dane Cook you are silly.
Hey Mike welcome back even though I haven't been around either.
My First Gen bit the dust one night when I drove up Pole Hill Road. The top of my radiator busted and well needless to say it quickly over heated and as you can guess caused some engine damage or a seal or something. I'll be diagnosing it here soon. And either selling it as is or fixing it but it's out for a while. But my MR2 is looking better.... much better since the canyon run a few months back.

I would like to plan for a day late in Sept when things start to wind down. I will be honest with everyone. Our Spring meet was very disappointing with less then 10 cars showing up. I expected at least 30.
I know lots of clubs put together meets where a different member will organize it. Does someone want to step up and put together a meet? I can help set a date, but I need that person to promote the crap out of it! That might even mean to call everyone on the Rotary list that I can get you.

anyone close to Durango?
just curious if anyone is in the Durango area? Or if there is any future interest in meeting in Durango. If you want curvy roads, there are plenty around here. Especially the stretch of highway between Silverton and Ouray.

I just pulled my 13B and I'm rebuilding it so I doubt (unless things come together fast) that I'll be there... But if I'm done in time I'm all over it! Also a neat surprise just happened to me today. I pulled the fly wheel off and come to find out it's a light weight flywheel from Centerforce! Talk about a sweat find!
EVAN-RX7 where are you at in Colorado?
Also what were the out comes of the dyno day back the weekend of the meet? Who had the three highest power 7's? (1st Gen 2nd Gen and 3rd gens?)

I'de go but sadly my car is down at the moment. I parked it for the winter last year and got the injectors cleaned and a new PD. For this whole year I have only put 15 miles on it because it is super hard to start and it just doesnt have much powa while running. I'm gonna tear into it this weekend and see whats wrond with it. If it is fine to drive over the passes by the time you guys have your gathering I might make it.

Hey so I dismantled my 13B today... and it's looking good! Or better than I expected.
I'll have to replace at least the front bearing on the eccentric shaft and maybe the Stationary gear and probably the seal springs but all the seals are looking good.
I have two options once I get the engine back together... Sell the LE roller to a guy in NJ and drop the 13B in my GSL and drive that ugly thing Or put it back in the LE and drive that... Hmm well either way I'll get a tune done and then I'm down for any rotary mayhem we might want to cause in this beautiful state.
