Throttle got Stuck - CAR WONT STOP!

today i took my car for a ride (Automatic Transmission - 94 FD) and stepped on the throttle about half way...car reved up to about 4,500 and shifted up to 3rd or 4th gear...then i let go of the accelerator and noticed the RPMs were going up to 2000 and back down to 1000 continuously without stopping! My brakes got rock solid and the WOULD NOT STOP! as it reved up towards 2000 it would accelerate and as it came down to 1000 it would decrease accelarating. I nearly crashed and found myself having to use the emergency brake to try and brake the car...I put it in neutral and it obviously started to slow down but the revs continued up and down...I then pulled over, turned the car off, checked the rug mat that it was not stuck, opened the hood and tried looking for anything abnormal but saw nothing. I turned it back on and gunned the accelerator to the floor and then it finally stopped reving up and down...

I nearly killed myself! I'm freaking out! please help!

anyone know where the pcv valve is located?? I think I might have to replace it and was just wondering if anyone has documented via images??
