hello sir. i was looking at your power steering pump thread and i am having the same problem where the small hose is leaking from the reservoir and dripping/squirting fluid in the engine bay. i was wondering what size hose i need to buy and what would be the best way to replace it. Thank you so much!

    jriskin,

Sorry about the late response... my computer has been in the shop. I'd guess the resistor in the resistor pack between positions 1 and 2 of the fan control switch is open (see page Z-68 in section Ga of the 1994 FWM). The pack is called (in the FWM) the "Blower Motor Resistor," and is actually three resistors in series with a built-in fuse. Its connector is "G-05," located near the right cabin wall down under the dash/glove compartment area. You can see the location on page Z-69 of the manual.

AC Question, you seem to be really informed well on the topic. I've got a 94 FD, the AC hasn't worked in awhile. I've replaced the 4 position fan switch.

Stock ECU OR with PMS Purple box piggy back:
    1. No fan on position 1
    2. Fan on 2-4 but
    3. No AC clutch engagement on any
    4. AC light comes on in position 1
    5. No AC light in positions 2-4

    AEM ECU
    1. No fan on position 1
    2. Clutch engages (and never disengages) and air will literally come out frosty like fog.

I've been swapping out the ECU during really hot times, but honestly I don't like the way it drives the turbos and I'd really like it to work with the PMS.

Any thoughts? I'd like to avoid spending a fortune troubleshooting it.
