Hey my names jacoby potter and what can i say. Been around pistons my whole life. Never tinkered with a rotory never really read much about them but heck ended up finding a 1987 rx7 for 1200 that runs fine just had minor electrical issues and a big plus for me was it already had the 5 lug swap. Trying to daily the car but man its hard not wanting to put all this money in it. Trying to keep a decent daily but still slide around. Gonna have to read up on what it takes. Ill post pictures in a little thanks for the warm welcome =)

Welcome to the site Jacoby. I am in the same situation as you. I just recently picked up a RX7 and know next to nothing about them. I hope to gain the knowledge needed to keep it running good and maybe squeeze a few more ponies out of it.

Heres what it look basically when i got the car. Then i cut the springs just a little just enough to not ruin the ride too bad but to rid the car of the disgusting wheel gap. Eventually ill get coils cause this is gonna be a drift car after my talon is done.

The rims are black all around now. Got too dark for me to finish the front. Had to sand and prime them which took to long
