Hey, I just moved to the UCF area for school and want to know what the deal is around this area. I mainly would like to know what are the best shops around here. Also I would like to know about what everyone does on the weekends as far as meetings and such. BTW my name is Bryan and I drive a 93' Silver RX-7 with red interior and as of now its just about stock and working on reliability mods. So if your in the area speak up and let me know whats up. i just got back to fl 5-6 months ago and havent gone out much at all. im in orange city.

ive heard there are a couple third gens that go to the sonics on Iinternational drive on saturdays. unfortunately my poor car has had **** happen to it and i dont want to take it up there. (tree limbs falling on it, gas door was ripped off, etc)

My name is Jon and I am the Spacecoast VP of MRCCFL and I am also a UCF student/Orlando resident.

1st order of business, you have to get your car repainted a different color, no one else is allowed to have a SSM 3rd gen in this area.(j/k)

Really though, nice to have you in the area. If you need any help what so ever feel free to shoot me a line. I do 99% of the work on my own car and usually can give you some good advice/help on any problems you may have. I have had my FD for almost 3 years now, so I know her pretty well.

Uhg, as far as "cool" get togethers in Orlando, not many exist. There is a thing in Daytona every Thursday that sometimes gets pretty cool, but it is a big long drive for nothing if cops decide to break up the fun. Sonics is a waste of time, vrooom vrooooooom. That's about that. I think it is on Saturdays that some real performance people get together at a certain Applebees on Colonial.

I've been living in Winter Park for 6 months and have been trying to get a 7 get together for sometime now. We all need to meet up one night, maybe at the track and then ride out from there.

Ok, I just got back from a "decent" performance get together at the TGIFridays on Colonial across from Best Buy. If you all want to meet up there next Saturday that would be cool, although I can't make it. There was a 2nd gen, and two 3rd gens including mine. Plus some pretty cool Nissan silvia wannabes. Check it out. I have an practice for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights and I won't be there, but maybe we can arrange a drag strip night or something. Who's game?

Ahh some UCF epople with RX-7s what a beautiful thing. fitzrx-7 I think I have seen you driving a few times. You ever take the back way out campus onto Science Drive? I live at the Village at Science Drive. We need to get up sometime. I drive a 91 midnight blue TII with white Konig rims.

Yes, that is my, I take the "test track at Science Drive" every day to school, except Friday. And yes, I have noticed that nice 2nd gen with the white konigs.

Who's up for a Wed night at the drag strip?? I won't make it until about 8pm, cause I have a class, but that sounds cool to me, otherwise maybe Friday at Speedworld? Ideas?

We definately need to get all the RX7s around here to meet up. I got class on wednesday night too, then i got a few things to after....Is there another dragstrip besides Speedworld? I will keep checking in, if you guys decided on something, keep me posted.

 

hmm, A real dragstrip, no, there is only Speedworld here in CFL

as for "unofficial" ummm, there is the Fitz 1/4 mile strip....hehehe, right along the lines of "test track at Science Drive", but its location is undisclosed at the current time. What about Friday then??? It's $10 I think, we should try to get there as close to 6pm as possible.

i know this sounds retarded when i say this but my motors blown but i still drive it.

i know someone with a motor for 2 grand up in nc...

question is... am i completely foolish for driving the car? im not worried about the housings because of the new motor but i cant aford it all right now.
