These sideskirts are actually very tricky to replicate. It has to be supportedd well. The original ones feel like a big fish.

patience guys. Almost done. We had trouble prepping up the ORIGINAL part. We have to do improvements to the mold which takes a long time.

I would like to post a quote from an interested buyer regarding the OEM sideskirts.

"I saw recently on a post on the rx7 forum that you will be duplicating the Mazda OEM Sideskirts for the FD3S. Anyhow, to make a long story short if they were being duplicated in Fiberglass that would be the best news I have heard all year. I have an original set that I purchased awhile back but the material that the original ones are made out of is heavy and not really very paint friendly. (I have found a lot cracks and stuff in the paint because of how pliable that rubbery material is). " - Chris Sharman

Here's another one.

"I was on the RX7club.com and noticed that you are currently working on a set of OEM replica side skirts for the FD… (made from the same foam type material) … I have a question that I hope you maybe able to shed some light on… I have a set of OEM skirts and the foam started to crack…these cracks are located right where the sideskirts start turn up (near the rear of the door)…Do you know of any way to fix this problem??? Is there some type of glue or epoxy I might be able to use??? The car is currently at the bodyshop and will be painted early next week… thanks." -Kevin
