Are these people taking off the turbos of the cup cars just so they can race in scca? That seems pretty retarded when you can just go buy one and race with the pca and not have to worry about turbo...

you could, COULD, cut weight by removing stuff from the car to compensate for the weight gain. Albeit it will still be a bit heavier, but not as heavy as it could be.

I have never driven an FD with working stock sequentials. Now the big TT FD I drove at an scca event was the shiznit.

It would be cheaper to go with a trick hybrid and get more power than do FD...
