I am currently in the process of installing a 2JZ-GE which is being rebuilt with a 3mm decompression plate (so i can bolt a BIG turbo onto it) to go into my Hilux surf so i can tow my rx7 to events :)

Long duration intake ports will give less 'compression' on a guage than small ports will, same as doing the same 'compression' check on a piston engine with long duration cams.

Bend the standard oil cooler mounts down vertical, turn the cooler around the other way and mount it on the front side of the mounts, get the oil cooler lines lengthened to suit.
