These are actually going on an 86 Base with tii wheels. 225/45's are closer to the stock 185/70-14's in diameter. ;)

Most places will either use turbo housings or leave the diffusers in on a 6-port engine b/c they're too hard and not very easy to grind out. There is a FAQ on Mazdatrix's website that covers it.

I had a friend put them on his escort...compliant ride. they were progressive. stiffened it up quite a bit. i personally didn't like them. I went with a GC kit.

Not likely when you jump from a 14 or 15 to a 18+. More likely than not, you will raise the car height, therefore, raising CG.
