IIRC the trans tunnel needs a "big hammer" adjustment. :) I did some quick searching and both the 350z and 370z use the same ratios. Not sure what the actual differences are but one of the companies...

You really won't know until you can spend some time with it. Unless the starter has seized with the gear engaged to the flywheel you should be able to take the spark plugs out and spin it with a 1/2...

As far as I know the only cars with 3.90 rear gearing was the automatic transmission equipped cars. All the rest had 4.10 except the '89-'90 GTUs that had the 4.3. All the U.S Turbo II cars were 4.10...
