Yea it doesn't look like there is any way to mount it directly to the manifold. Are there any companies that make adapters specifically for this kind of thing or is it just best to get a 12a carb?...

I've got a 12a engine that I have a 12a manifold for but the carb I have, which is for a 13b I believe (says Hitachi on it and is currently mounted to a 13b 4-port manifold), does not mount the same...

yes, i had 2 different ones on 2 different...

yes, i had 2 different ones on 2 different engines that leaked a bunch, not because of the o-ring gasket that mates to the engine, but because of a little o-ring inside the omp.

I would say testing the voltage is more accurate than resistance because that is what the computer actually bases its decisions off of. But both are important to check, because if you set it to 1000...

Did you check what the tps voltage is at idle? should be close to 5V vref and 1V drop at the tps

So you've got 720cc primary and secondaries? Don't you want to lean out the mixture about 25% at idle? Although I'm not sure if that will make a difference for starting since based on what I've read...
