I made the CAI for it when installing the single turbo for the first time, I'd like to think its better than sucking in hot engine air. Yes I have to leave the headlight mounted upright. Two oil coolers would be better for road racing, not too sure about street driving and drag racing. No the fmic isn't bad for the water temps. about 16-19 psi I think on the seq. stock turbos, it would peak and then boost drop off.

Hi there, I'm from South Africa and there isn't much assistance here with the FD. I hope you don't mind me asking all of these questions.

I have been looking at pictures of the mods you did on your FD and liked the CAI mod you did, Did it increase performance at all by doing it and did it affect your pop up lights at all?

I also noticed that you have one oil cooler (my FD also only has 1) Do you think one is enough in a hot country?

As for your FMIC, does it effect your water temps at all by being in the way of the radiator?

And what boost were you pushing getting these figures 1994 Mazda RX-7 RX7 stock seq turbos 1/4 mile Drag Racing timeslip specs 0-60 - DragTimes.com

    Thanks a lot,
    Luke

i was wondering, when you had your engine built, did you have it dowl pinned, or did you just go with the ALS seals, i'm trying to determine the max boost i should run on my current setup and engine. it has the RA super seals and atkins rebuild kit (remaining seals were atkins), no dowl pinning, just a large street port.

    hope you can help!

If you want the 2 step launch control then get the HI-6DSR, check my mods list for all my mods and part numbers for the ignition parts I'm using.
