"I get that (lung butter) too. As long as I'm changing the oil on a regular basis I don't consider it to be a major concern."

what's a regular basis? outside of an atkins rebuilt engine, my car is completely stock

Sorry to bother you, I installed a Carter fuel pump a few years ago for my Yaw carb. It looks like the pump died and I am wondering what model it was so I can replace it?
Summit has the P4070 which is a 6psi, 72 gph, and I was thinking that was the right one.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks,

    Dave

Just read your message...I'll have to turn on notifications or something. I'm not in any big hurry or anything. Maybe just let me know when you've got some time!

    Hi Kent
Maybe if you've got time some weekend we could get together. You're real knowledgeable and I could use some advice on what needs replacing on my car. I could use the help of someone who has "seen it all before." I'm not a beer drinker, but perhaps I could bribe you with a pizza to give my 85 the once over.

Hey! I work in Allendale, drive through Grand Rapids everyday, I live out in Lake Odessa.

I took the Mazda to Borgman yesterday on 28th & Ivanrest. They replaced the fuel filter and replaced two oil injection lines. I suspect they are the lines that feed the oil into the rotors, but I could be wrong.

They were really helpful and the Shop Manager, Paul, was incredibly knowledgeable if you ever need a place to take it. When I left, he told me I still wouldn't have a lot of power because the converter was plugged. This weekend I'm going to cut the bad converter out, as it's welded on, and put a straight pipe on that runs to the muffler.
