    Oh! LOL! I completely missed that... Yeah I like the look of the wrap around mani but I had a hard time finding a Dellorto or other side draft carbs. I went with a IDA and a RB intake which I love but I just sold my SA.

    installer67 left a comment on your profile directly below my first one lol i was just saying that you don't have to do the wrap around intake manifold, i think it looks much cleaner right on the side of the engine like my first gen

    so what's the condition of that trans? and one more thing, dcoe's don't have to have a wrap around intake manifold. with the right intake manifold (like mine) it'll fit on the side of the engine and miss the sidewall

    No, "sidedraft" or DCOE is an intake that wraps over the motor and the carb sits "sideways", or across the top of the motor.(thereby taking air from the side of the motor) The IDA is a "downdraft", which mounts facing up, above the exhauast. So it takes the air "down" into the carb.
