Nice progress on the build, looking forward to seeing it in paint
Regarding molding the fender vents...How will it hold up to temp changes? I'm tempted to do the same as mines going in for a respray in a few months, but I'm kinda scared it might crack due to the different expansion rates of the materials.
TCII's...In the best color too... What went wrong?

I haven't used anything out of the ordinary to mold in the vents on the fenders. Rage extreme body fill and some 3m lacquer filler. These are commonly used products for body work on fenders, hoods, doors, you name it. They will hold up to normal car use just fine. Obviously there is a seam to hide and it is not just a dent that I am filing so there is always a risk of it cracking over time. I mounted the vents with the OEM hardware as well as using 2 part epo-grip epoxy which I have been using at work for nearly twenty years. I would be amazed if there is any movement in the vent that would lead to cracking of the fill work and paint.

I actually haven't been up to Rays shop in a few years. I picked the bumper up from the manufacturer in Cumberland. I knew Peter as well, I'd personally rather deal with Ray but we've been friendly for a long time now. I can sympathize with Ray being a busy business owner myself. It's a lot of effort to keep the work flowing out quickly.

Thanks fellas.
I am hoping to get some time on Sunday to work on it. It's just about ready for base coat. I've got the bumper fitted and all of the seams and gaps worked out.
Having a successful business is a blessing and a curse. I rarely have free time to do the things I want to do.
