Whats this?
Hi guys hope you can help a south african out here..
Posted up in the gen specific section, but got met with rude replies on how I am going about/plans for modding my FD..
Soo i thought id get met with a friendlier reply here..
Can anyone tell me what this thing is going into my main cat? and what do i do with it when i do a decat?

If it's a late FD, believe the over-temp sensor changed from an inside floor mount - that's been common on Mazdas for the last 30 years to direct mount. Someone posted a pic on an Oz forum a year or so back - version VI - from memory, as it was new to me.
On the old style sensor at least, bridging the two terminals was all that was required to stop error codes being thrown, I'd expect there should be a termination either under the seat or on top of the sill to facilitate.
The au delivery cars did have a pre-cat btw like the US, but we only went up to S7 officially, all rather moot with the flood of S8 imports since.
