what if the shifter?
what if the shifter?
(hypothetically) were to fall off the car while driving because some dumbass forgot to torque the bolts down. If this happened during a 200 mile trip and wasent noticed till the end when said dumbass went to shift how much tranny fluid if any could have gotten out?
or should i order some more redline?

There's very little gear oil in the shifter housing, and the main body of the gear box isn't connected fluid-wise to the shifer housing. The gear oil in the housing is just to lubricate the shifter itself.
That said, I doubt you've caused any problems or damage, and I even doubt you lost any gear oil out of the shifter housing. Check everything, clean up if need be, bolt it all back up and you're good to go.

That's a good one. I hate it when that happens... I lost a shift **** once because my brother borrowed on of the set screws. Nothing funnier, funny now, than having a shift **** in you hand after a hard shift into 2nd. I almost rear ended someone while looking at it in my hand.
I always wondered if the gear oil was shared with the tranny.

I had a buddy once that shifted and had the shift **** fly into the hatch. Yet another reason I don't recommend getting any shift **** that goes on with set screws - that's just ghetto.
